SUMMARY

Artera's Data team is looking for a talented Senior Data Scientist. In this role, you will be primarily working with product managers, engineers and stakeholders to design and deliver Artera's strategic analysis, both for internal and external customers. 

This role ideally comes with a keen interest in the last mile of the journey in translating numbers to stories, meeting stakeholders where they are and walking along with them on the journey of data-driven decision making and storytelling. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with stakeholders to define analytics plans in tackling high-level, ambiguous strategic questions 
  • Conduct analysis to inform, iterate and deliver from start to finish 
  • Ensure sanity checks before concluding, with focus on logical coherence and sensibility of the delivery 
  • Work with stakeholders and customers to translate analytical outcome to end artifacts, delivering the last mile of the journey
  • Build strong partnerships with internal and external customers and stakeholders 
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers in productizing proven analysis into features for scalable delivery 
  • Commit to clear, consistent and up-to-date documentation and other processes of the team 
  • Evangelize value-based analytics and be a strong voice to represent healthcare operation perspective for data organization

REQUIREMENTS

  • MS or above in quantitative field 
  • 7+ years of full-time experience in data analytics and science 
  • 3+ years of strategy and management consulting experiences
  • Strong domain experiences and exposure in healthcare operation
  • Expert skills at SQL, strong data visualization skills and proficiency in other programming languages, ideally Python
  • Flexible with descriptive or predictive analytics, approach-agnostic, with clear and exclusive focus on the problem at hand without attachment for approach 
  • Great communication skills and business acumen
  • Ability to think and articulate in big picture with structure and framework
  • Comfort and passion for high-level ambiguous idea with an entrepreneur mindset
  • Fast learner, tool agnostic and proven agility in picking up new skills and concepts quickly

SALARY RANGE

Actual base salary will depend on experience, skills, education, geographic location, and/or internal equity.

$128,000 - $187,000
